Atelier EC1 - A case history

 
Summer Park Homes is a boutique property developers specialising in developing select, urban sites for commercial
and leisure use. They acquired a sought after site in the heart of the Jewellery quarter in Clerkenwell, London with the objective
to design and build 24 luxury serviced apartments, as well as providing commercial spaces on the ground floor for retail use.
 
The bricks and mortar of the building started in April 07, but the developer needed help to develop a clear branding and strategic plan for the building. Summer Park Homes appointed KNA Strategic Consultancy to research, assess and develop a brand proposition and positioning for the development. The objective was to attract potential operators to run the serviced apartments
in partnership with them.
 
The output was a detailed branding and marketing report with clear guidelines on the positioning of the offer versus competitors in terms of servicing profile, pricing and consideration of the overall market trends and developments. Following on from this work, Summer Park Homes successfully achieved their objective with the appointment of BridgeStreet Worldwide, a prominent player in the corporate serviced apartment market.

KNA Strategic Consultancy then became involved in a second stage of development from April 08 - August 08 when we project directed the co-ordination and creation of the £60M five-star serviced apartment block in terms of fit out, marketing and branding. Atelier EC1 successfully opened in Mid August 08
and is fast becoming one of the top performing sites for BridgeStreet Worldwide in London.
